Here we talk to Verity about her experience of semi-permanent make-up (SPMU), why she chose it and what she thought! If you need more information or want to talk through the treatment, contact us and we’ll be happy to help. If you want to see Charlotte carrying out the treatment, see our videos on YouTube.
Charlotte: Why did you have the powder brow treatment?
Verity: Over-enthusiastic plucking left me with uneven brows which I filled in regularly with pencil/powder. I’d heard about SPMU so thought I’d look into it further and potentially give it a go.
Charlotte: Why did you choose Browlicious?
Verity: I did some research as I’ve heard both good and bad stories from friends who have had the treatment. I knew of Charlotte from her previous salon and treatments, and was impressed with her professionalism and approach, so I had a consultation and we went from there.
Charlotte: Be honest, were you nervous on the day?
Verity: Not really, as I’ve spoken to people who have had the treatment as well as Charlotte, so I knew what to expect.
Charlotte: How long did the treatment take?
Verity: Just over an hour. After a while I just relaxed and almost fell asleep with the sound of the machine!
Charlotte: Was it painful?
Verity: No, slightly uncomfortable towards the end (not at first), but not painful at all. Even when I went home, the days following were fine, no discomfort or pain.
Charlotte: Was it worth it, and would you have it done again?
Verity: Definitely, and yes. My brows still look really great and I am very happy with them, I have no need for brow pencil or powder, but when they start to fade I’ll be booking in again with Charlotte.
